You have a student in the 8th Grade at Cabrillo! Some students are relatively new to Cabrillo and some have been here for years. Regardless, all students have growth and achievements to celebrate and eighth grade activities and events are just around the corner. You will find important information here about the events for 8th Grade and how you can get involved and make this an amazing last year at Cabrillo.
We hope all of our 8th grade families and their students will participate in the 8th grade events. If there is anything preventing your student’s participation in any of the upcoming events, please contact Mr. Potter or Ms. Pang-Maganaris so that we may assist.
These events are entirely organized and funded by parent volunteers, so your generosity and support truly make a difference. Thank you for helping us create a fun and celebratory experience for all students.

Whether you can help a little or a lot, we would love to have you join us! Please see the forms below to donate and volunteer. You can donate all at once or in 5 monthly installments for your student. Approved chaperones can also begin installments. The deadline is March 1st, 2027 for all funds to be in and the student list set for Yosemite.

Informational Meeting

We will discuss 8th grade activities, payment plans, and how to get involved to make this year's graduating class special.

8th Grade Hoodies
It has been a tradition each year for the 8th graders to create a design for the 8th grade hoodie. The class will vote together on the best design - the hoodie will be available for all.
Field Trip Information - TBD
Yosemite Trip
The Yosemite Trip is scheduled for April 18 - 21st, 2027 through Nature Bridge.
Great America
Students will be heading to Great America on May 28th, 2027. They will leave from school at 8:45 and return to school around 3-3:30 depending on traffic.
Dinner Dance
Dinner Dance will be held on June 1st, 2027 from 6-9pm at the Firehouse

Graduation
Graduation will be held on June 2, 2027 at 3pm - location TBD.
Graduation Brunch
Graduation Brunch will be held on June 3rd, 2027 at 9am in the MPR. Once we get closer to that time, there will be a sign up for requested food items.
